NEWS!!

We have an exciting new release!!
The Dudley Moore Trio--Jazz in "OZ"

Martine Avenue Productions is thrilled to announce our new release, a remarkable and historic film first televised by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1971 and not seen since. We are releasing the original black and white film, a concert performance, in its entirety.

Along with the DVD, we are providing a bonus CD of the musical selections.

Licensed to Martine Avenue Productions by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, this classic performance shows the young trio members on their first Australian tour.

The DVD features Dudley in top form doing what he loved best and did so brilliantly--entertaining audiences through music and humor. This DVD and CD include jazz standards and originals, as well as some of Dudley's infamous musical parodies, such as "Die Flabbergast," and "Madrigal."

Performing with Dudley are his two long-time associates--Pete Morgan on bass and Chris Karan on drums.

Letters from Dudley is a fascinating and revealing book containing the letters written by Dudley to his former high school music teacher, Peter Cork, between 1980 and 1994. Cork kept all 44 letters, and edited them for this volume, the first time they have been published. The book offers an extraordinary view of the life and personality of the renowned actor, musician and comedian, during a time when his Hollywood film career was at its height.

Dudley Moore-An Intimate Portrait, by Rena Fruchter. This book was published by Random House, UK (2004) and released in paperback in May, 2005. The critically-acclaimed book was released in the United States in the fall of 2005. For additional information, call our office at 908 754-4190. Click here for US orders or click here for UK orders.
